My version is not truly reversible because I wanted to reduce bulk. 1.) I used every other needle at the cast on for about an inch then knit the body of the hat. 2,) after I hung the inside, I knit all needle for about an inch. 3.) transferred down to half the needles and knit about an inch 4.) made eyelets every inch 5.) knit about an inch for a rolled hem top gathered top decoration
