Domestic, flat-bed machines have evolved over the years, with a number of manufacturers producing many different models. Confusingly, the same machine can have a different name and model number.
In an effort to gather and preserve historical data, we've created a vintage machine database that includes photos, the basic information about each machine, and links to available related manuals and documents.
Not only can you quickly look up info about the different makes and models of machines, ribbers and accessories, you can create a listing of your machines in a personal "machine locker".
This database is a work-in-progress and we're calling on all machine knitters to contribute and fill in the gaps in the listings.
