Ribbing without a Ribber
mock ribbing ribbing
If you have a manual machine, or you just need a small bit of ribbing you have options.
1 Knit the ribbing by hand, re-hang the stitches on the machine and continue knitting.
2 Take time to "unknit" individual stitches and latch them back up to form purl stitches.
Insert a latch tool in the last stitch, drop the stitch from the needle to form "Ladders" , use the latch tool to re-form each ladder.
