I absolutely love this book. Yes the patterns are dated but they are also relevant to the knitting techniques referenced in the front section. As a reference book of unusual or forgotten knitting techniques, I find it invaluable and I use it often.

The book gives many starting points to discover technics and design ideas, but briefly. The garments are dated.
