Archive of Thread: Garter bar - when you're using to move stitches, not turn them around Back

Just learning the garter bar - lots of info about making sure to pick up the stitches with the 'valley' side pointing up and then turn so the valley side is available for sliding off... what if you're not turning the stitches?  do you pickup with the hill side up?

Hi Christine!
If you aren't turning, it really doesn't matter.  You are just using the prongs to temporarily hold stitches.

yes, I watched that very informative video!  So because I'm not turning, I just slide them back on like I slid them off... ok, the turn makes that not possible, I guess...?
