Archive of Thread: Wasabi Pattern Problem Back

Love the custom fit pattern idea, but am having difficulties with the Wasabi pattern. 
I'm knitting the seamed back/front version. 
I customer the pattern. After downloading the pattern I started to look at the pattern. There is a huge anomaly between the number of rows on the one piece back pattern (before shaping neck RC = 202) and the two piece back pattern (RC 102). My understanding is the the seam goes vertically down the middle, so the length ie; row count should be the same.
Am I missing something or is there a problem with the calculator the this sweater? I've tested the pattern build on the Chipotle sweater and there is no difference between the RC on each version.
