   Hi my name is Pam I'm a retired school teacher from Wagga NSW Australia. About 2 years ago I started going along to the local knitting club to support a dear friend with dementia. But as I have been handknitting and sewing since the age of 4 it was only time before I became hooked and started collecting machines.
I loved the idea of a sample blanket  as coincidently I have just finished a wall hanging (pictured above)  which I made by stitching together samples of different shapes with different stitch patterns. I also personalized it by depicting a scene and adding buttons showing images that relate to my family life. 
It was a lot of fun while getting lots of practice at the same time. Looking forward to starting a blanket and thinking about how I can make it to include reminders of family events. Pam from OZ
