Hi Sue and fellow knitters,

Currently I'm working on Bonnie's one piece cocoon pattern. I've casted on with the e-wrap and it is stretchy.
What bind-off  is the equivalent of this cast-on?

I've binded off with the latchtool, after I knitted one row with the largest stitch dail, but it is not enough and totally not stretchy.

If I bind off with the latchtool in any other method it is so different from the cast on, that it will show if I put the schoulder seams together.

Please can any one assist me with this issue?

Kind regards Marja from the Netherlands

My favorite stretchy bind off is the back stitch bind off ...

If you hand knit, you can also take the stitches off on a HK needle. You'll have more control over the bind off.

Thank you Sue, I'm going to try the back stitch bind off. Already tried to bind off on the HK needle, wasn't a great succes either.

The back stitch bind off was the right technique for this projects.

Second problem to tackle:  what is the best technique to sew those box pleats?
