I first saw this sweater pattern 30 years ago, but my skills weren't sharp enough at the time to make it.  However, it kept calling my name, so I finally done did it.  I made it on a Studio 280 standard bed punchcard machine, using my radar.  It used mostly Tamm Diamante hard-twist dress yarns.  I also made my first-ever FI neckband, using cut-and-sew.

I wasn't totally satisfied with the seaming, tho.  Because there were so many color changes, I carried the yarn up the sides on the end needles, but I found seaming a bit tricky.  I had to take more than 1 end stitch deep when seaming to keep the carried colors from showing in the seamline.
