I'm a little confused by the instructions for shaping the crown in the KIN hat patterns. The shaping instructions for the Lucky Cloche, for example, start with
RC 1: count 16 needles, transfer the next stitch to the
needle to the left and repeat across the row
RC 2: work * * * decrease transfers
This implies that having transferred the stitches across the row, one then knits across with a few needles out of work. Then one closes up the gaps and knits across, thus completing 2 rows. Is this what is meant, or should one transfer the stitches, close the gaps and then knit 2 rows?
Obviously, further on where the shaping is every row, rather than every other row, it's transfer, close the gaps, knit 1 row, then repeat.

Hi Jenny!
Even though this process is tedious, it is soooo worth it! Don't you just love that swirl shape?
Have you watched the video?
