Sorry I know this is a site for machine knitters which is usually what I do but I purchased yarn which is beautiful but cannot find a pattern for exactly that yarn..it is a heavy cotton...too heavy for my knitting machine. Is there an equivalent tool like the dynamic patterns where I can convert a pattern forr use in handknitting
I have found a patttern which I would like to use but need to convert it for the yarn and needle sizes that I have...cannot get out to my local wool shop just now. I have knitted some swatches for different stitiches and different sized needles but dont know where to go next.
If someone could suggest anything/ another site I would appreciate it greatly.
Thanks
Josephine

Hi Josephine!
You can use math to do the conversion ...
We have a Gauge Conversion tool to help.
There is a video on the tool page that walks you through the process.
Here's the link to the video

You are incredible. Thank you. This is the best website that I have ever subscribed to and you may quote me! At the moment I am conquering the 2 hour baby cardigan as I have just bought the course...it makes everything doable.
