Well we all know the value of swatches. However they can get cumbersome and I was looking for a way to easily refer to them. So i made a chart in excel that i can always refer to easily. The swatches themselves are keep for visual reference and what tension i can visually see i like. Of course i can refer back to them if needed.
These are my machines and my tensions that i like. I would suggest you use your own swatches Please dont use these numbers. I do have the blank chart one can change the machine name. i

I do something similar, but a wider-ranging spreadsheet in that I record the details of each garment I knit. In addition to the yarn and stitch pattern used, the Tension Dial setting and the swatch measurements, I record the size and style of the garment and the amount of yarn used.

Using Google Sheets would be a great place to store these spreadsheets. If you use multiple devices you could access your information from computer, tablet or phone.
