This  was my third try and success, the first time I was half way done and discovered a big boo-boo, the second time , three rows left and it all fell of the machine, again had to undo it all, third time lucky .

I did 550 rows on my SK560 with tention 5.1 and 151 stitches it took two and a quarter balls of Woolike colour Ivory.

Double congratulations, Maurie!  Once for persevering when the machine was fighting back and twice for the magnificent success.  The scarf is really beatiful.

Did you do anything special to finish the ends? - Fringe, crochet border, whatever?

I love this and congratulate you on your perseverance.  Having made a beautiful lace heirloom shawl for a great grandchild some years ago and suffered at the hands of my machine.  I am now an avid user of lifelines.
