Archive of Thread: Super Bright Intarsia Sweater Back

I knit this for my brother who has received a couple biasing sweaters from me - he's finally going to get one that doesn't bias! The design was inspired by The Memphis Group, Taco Bell in the 90s, and those extreme 80s style sweaters. It was knit using the firebrick pullover pattern as a base, with some minor changes (like front armhole seams shorter than back armhole seams, center front 3/4" shorter than center back, and some side seam shaping). Thanks to Sue for help with this!
I'm really pleased with how it all came out, this is probably the most perfect sweater I have made yet, hopefully my brother thinks so too when he tries it on! Under my shared items, I posted another picture of the fit in case anyone is interested.
This was so much fun, I've already started my next intarsia project!

This is absolutely fantastic, bravo! Please make more and show us. (And I like the idea of shortening the back raglans, will keep that in mind.)
I love intarsia on the machine, so addictive and satisfying! Since I'd love others to share their recent work here, I'll share two sweaters I recently made, which are hand knitting patterns from Rowan:
