I have just taken delivery of my brand new Taitexma mid-gauge machine with ribber and am getting it set up.
I have 2 of what I would call "standard" machine knitting tables - 4' x 1' plank with metal legs which can be folded underneath. (You see lots of them on eBay.) One of mine is 3" taller than the other and experience has taught me that the tall one is really too tall for using with a machine with ribber attached, but I may decide to keep the ribber attached to my Brother 940 so might need to buy a new table for the Taitexma anyway.
But I am wondering if this type of table is suitable for the considerable weight of a mid-gauge metal bed and ribber? Have other mid-gauge users had experience with this type of table? If you had to buy something different *IN THE UK* what did you get?
