In the LK150 manual, it says to brush the fluff off the underside of the carriage and oil. Exactly what parts do you oil? I searched here and the web, and have not found anything on oiling the carriage of the LK150. I know how to do the bed and needles.

Also, to get lint out of the needle grooves, would you use one of those little hand held mini vacs like I use to clean lint from my serger, or would that suck up the needle latches and damage them?

Thank you.

Hi Cynthia
It means what it says:"brush off all fluff and oil", not "brush off all fluff, and oil"
The previous instructions tell you where to oil.

I use my normal hoover pipe gently/slowly to hoover my knitting machines.

Thanks. Just want to make sure I am maintaining this properly. I really love it.

The oil on the needle rollers will oil the carriage for you automatically as they pass through it 🙂
