Sandra Watson asked:
Is it possible to leave my ribber attached to the main bed and still use the garter carriage or does the angle of the bed interfere with performance? I recently saw an old video that stated it was okay. However, when I got my garter carriage years ago I thought I was told not to use with ribber attached.
____________
Thoughts?

I've never had a problem using my GC on my KH-940 with the ribber attached. (Well, I have had a few problems but nothing to do with the angle of the beds! !)

I have my ribber attached to my 950i and use always my garter carriage with this set up.
Your question is making me think though about whether it means I have to use slightly more weight on the cast on comb, which I do. I've always assumed its because I'm fond of using cotton, silk or viscose - all having less give and therefore needing a helping hand in the way of increased weight.
Happy knitting
