Working on socks lately, plein fot, toe-up, industrial ribb cuff, after some trial and error i found my go-to bind off method for stretchy socks.
(Working on standard gauge machine) I knit the last row with loosest tention, then i transfer the ribber stitches to the main bed, 2 stitches on 1 empty needle, then take the work off the machine with a 2 mm needle,
Bind off with a 3.5 mm needle, that gives me a loose bindoff, fast, even and efficient. If i need extra stretch i use jennys surprisingly stretchy bind off.
Maybe someone wants to try?
