Hello everyone,
I have trouble seeing the knitting below the bed.  My eyes are sensitive to direct bright light.
Any suggestions appreciated,
Nora

Try getting an Ott Lamp, if you can afford one. The clarity is amazing!

When my eyesight was very bad before cataract surgery I read of someone who had fixed a fluorescent light bar under their table.  I bought a small light bar and tried holding it in various positions but I never found a position where it was any help.  I use an Anglepoise lamp with a good bulb which I can direct exactly over the needlebed.

Thanks so much.  I tried the light bar and a string of white Christmas lights...no help. Your suggestion is next on my list!

My thanks to you, too Kristin.  I'll be checking Ott lights, as well.

I've used a Beam 'n Read for both hand and machine knitting

My kids laugh at me, but I can direct the light where I need it.

Hi.  Dealing with stitches on a standard machine can be tough.  So small.
I have a string of LED lights under a wall shelf behind me and a flexi floor lamp beside me, plus the rooms ceiling light.  None are perfect on their own, but together they seem to work. Keep looking, I am sure you will find something.

Thanks so much.  My search for good lighting has been exactly as you say...several different sources all doing a little.

Thanks All!  I have added a battery powered rectangular LED light that hangs around my neck.  I adjust it up/down as needed.
