I would love to see more patterns for babies.  In particular a wrap around cardigan would be very useful.  I'm awaiting my 6th grandchild, a boy, and would also like a collared cardigan. I have knitted the Chipmunk and the Squirrel cardigans but am not really happy with the finished articles.  A zipped "hoody"  would also be great.

Hi Vivienne,
Thanks for the suggestions.

Please send an example of the wrap around cardigan.

You can make any pattern a "hoodie" - we offer a tool to help design your own.

There's also a classroom about hoods with even more info.

What don't you like about your Chipmunk and Squirrel sweaters?  How can I help?

I felt that the Squirrel and Chipmunk cardigans were a bit basic.  I've found that raglan sleeves are much better for small babies.   I have a pattern for a wrap around cardigan by Mar Heck from Ravelry but it starts at 6 months.  I'm not good at resizing patterns and I find it very difficult to get a correct gauge on  my Toyota machine.  So a dynamic pattern is great for me.
