Hi Sue,
Can you use the cut and sew on the sides of a boxy sweater to add shape. I am thinking of making a curve on the sides of a sweater and just seam the cut edge in with my regular seamed edge. Does that make sense?  Is it possible?
Thank you for your expertise.

Hi Doris!
Using Cut 'n Sew for shaping the side seams is a great idea!
If the sweater is already knit, it's a great way to add fit.
If you are using a knitting pattern that doesn't have shaping, using cut 'n sew is a great way to get the shaping exactly where you want it without doing a lot of math and shaping while you knit.

Using stabilizer helps quite ... here's a video that uses a wash-away stabilizer when creating cut 'n sew neckline.  It would be good for your side seams as well.
