Hi ,

Knit 2 strands of yarn together and let the machine position them so you view one color on one side of the knitting and the 2nd color on the other side of the knitting.

This technique can be used on both the single and double bed. Plaiting is a great way to bulk up finer yarns and play with color and texture.

Not all machines offer the ability to work this technique. Check your manual.
  • Choose 2 fine yarns of contrasting colors
  • Install or locate the plaiting feeder on your machine
  • Follow your manual to try the technique
