I made 3 woven potholders on my standard bed on July 4th. I usually put a crocheted trim around the edges (i.e. crab stitch), but tried fabric binding instead on the three I made yesterday. I thought they looked good, but because of the (careful) hand-sewing on the reverse side, it didn't save any wear-and-tear on my hands in the end. They make-up on the machine in an hour, but I also have a weaving carriage on this machine. The trim takes the longest. I'll be investigating trims that can be done on the machine that allow me to turn corners.

Very nice Sandee! These would make nice placemats too!
