This machine comes with a D-Slider The Drop Stitch Lace technique can also be worked by simply manually dropping the loops.NOTE: Although this is referred to as "lace" there are no eyelets formed. The "lace" effect is subtle, but adds pretty texture to the knit side.
Overview of Drop-Stitch lace
- MAIN BED
- Selected needles do not form stitches, they just hold loops
- Carriage is set to slip in both directions (both part buttons remain engaged)
- Change Knob to KC
- Cancel the
- Punchcard must have 1 unpunched row before punched row
- RIBBER
- All knitting takes place on the ribber
- Carriage set for plain knitting
Knitting Sequence
- Carriage on the right. Knit to the left.
- Ribber stitches knit
- Needles are SELECTED on the main bed
- Carriage on the left. Knit to the right.
- Ribber stitches knit.
- Loops are formed on the selected needles
- AND needles are selected according to the pattern
- Engage the D-Slider and drop the loops
- Remover the D-Slider
This sequence repeats for the length of the knitting
