Slip Stitch is a great way
to add texture and interest to your knitting.
When knitting slip, certain needles do not knit and the working yarn travels UNDER the needles.

- Slip stitch is most often used as a "wrong-side facing" technique. Floats are left on the purl side of the knitting and the texture is used as the "right" side
- Slip stitch not only leaves floats on the purl side, it distorts the knitting adding even more texture
- Combining rows of alternate colors with slip created both texture and color interest (multi-color-slip)
