Use this method when you are knitting a rectangle (or a swatch) and you want to control where the stitch pattern is positioned.

Exercise steps
- In DesignaKnit Stitch Designer, create a new stitch pattern:
- File
- New pattern setup
- Set size manually
- Adjust the size to the stitches and rows needed
- Import motif(s) or draw a stitch pattern with symbols and/or colors:
- Edit
- Import
- Single Motif | Horizontal Border | Vertical Border | Tile
- Choose the motif
- Position it
- In Interactive Knitting, set up the swatch size (widest number of needles).
- Select a stitch pattern from the LOWER list
- Enter the swatch stitches and rows
