Bugs & Improvements
Fixes and improvements to your Knit It Now experience
-
Updated the Pattern Catalog with new fashion-flat illustrations. The simpler artwork better reflects how Pattern Builders work: the illustration is the starting point, and your measurements, gauge, and design choices make the pattern your own.
Check out Patterns -
Pattern builders require your 4 in (10cm) gauge, not a 1-inch gauge.
We’ve added an extra check to help catch gauge entries that look like a 1-inch gauge before the pattern is calculated. If you normally record your gauge over 1 inch, multiply both your stitch and row counts by 4 before entering them.
-
Give your saved Hat patterns a name that means something to you and add notes to remember yarn choices, adjustments, or ideas for next time
-
It’s now easier to find the pattern tools you need from the top menu, with clearer access to the Pattern Catalog, My Patterns, sizing charts, and other pattern resources.
-
Building and editing patterns on a phone is now easier
- more compact header,
- clearer measurement fields,
- improved navigation
- better mobile spacing.
-
- cm displayed on the edit pages
- choose in/cm when building or when editing
In the Pipeline
A peek at what's being developed
-
Custom cardigans and pullovers knitted sideways, with flexible sizing that works especially well for larger garments (misses and womens) and limited needle-bed widths.
-
More choices are coming to the Pattern Builders, with additional sweater shapes and construction styles in development
