Basic Fairisle Practice

Duplicate the exercise demonstrated in the video in the previous lesson. 2 rows of 3 stitch dashes.
Try this practice more than once with different needle combinations until you get comfortable with reading your knitting and following a chart.

Choose 2 contrasting colors of yarn of similar weight. Name them Color A and Color B
Get started

1. With Color A, cast on 33 stitches (multiple of 6 plus 3)
2. Use any cast on method of your choice
3. Knit for 2", end with the carriage on the right
